REFUNDS FOR SPRING SEASON

Date Posted: 3/27/2020

Dear SISA Families,

We will be issuing a full refund for all those that registered with SISA for the Spring 2020 season.  Even though we were able to get our soccer practices underway, we are offering a refund for the season that we ultimately had to cancel before we could get our first weekend of games underway.

In all likelihood, SISA will not be reimbursed by NCYSA for fees we are required to pay upfront for registration and insurance.  We also made investments to have portable lights for Stumpy Creek Park and for field usage fees at Mazeppa Park.  SISA decided it would be best to simply provide a full refund instead of partial refunds, or offering credits for the fall season.  We did not think it would be fair to pass that hardship back to our SISA families.

A full refund of $65 will be issued for the age groups fo U4, U5, and U6.  A full refund of $90 will be issued for the age groups of U8 and older (late fees do no apply to the refund policy).  For those that purchased a new uniform for this season, unfortunately we will not be able to provide refunds for those.  We are not allowed to take returns on the uniforms due to COVID-19 since all of them had already been provided to our coaches to give to their respective players.

We ask that you be patient for the refunds to process back to your accounts.  SISA is working with our website provider to complete a system update that will allow refunds back to each of you thru a payment reversal process to the form of payment used during registration.  Work is still underway on the update but we hope to have the refunds in motion starting sometime next week.  We will keep you updated.

Although the cancellation of this season was very unfortunate, we simply were not going to have access to the soccer fields for organized games in time to get our season played.

We thank all of you for your patience and understanding and wish all of you good health as we get through this unprecedented time.

SISA hopes to see all of you back with us next fall.

Thank you,

SISA
